Treetop Treasures are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We only collect information from you to fulfil your order and to provide you with the best possible service. If you subscribe to our mailing list, your email address will only be used to receive newsletters about Treetop Treasures and not from third parties. If you want to unsubscribe at any time, then please let us know via email. 

Your telephone number will only be used to send parcel tracking information by SMS if applicable or if there is a problem with your order.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

we never hold or store credit/debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. Please let us know if you want to check the information we hold about you, if there are any inaccuracies, we will update your details/delete them immediately. 

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. 

Treetop Treasures use the latest and most Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificates available. SSL is used to protect data such as address and credit card information when being sent over the Internet.

When entering your personal information you will notice that a padlock sign appears at the top (next to the refresh icon). Or if you are using Internet explorer 4, 5 or 6 then the padlock sign appears in the bottom right corner of your Browser. The padlock sign indicates that the page is secured using a SSL certificate and any information that is entered will be encrypted when sent to our server. You will also notice that the Web Address (URL) will change from HTTP:// to HTTPS://. This in conjunction with the padlock sign which also indicates that this website is using secure encryption technology to keep data safe and completely private.

 
Payment Methods

Our payment methods are provided by the payment gateways of Stripe and Paypal. Stripe is a payment service provider in over 25 countries. Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. As Stripe is one of our payment partners, within the first 24 hours, 'Stripe' may appear on your bank statement, however it should change to 'Treetop Treasures' within a day. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please let us know and we can help confirm your order. 

Using Paypal as your payment method allows you to either use your Paypal account to pay or alternatively, you can make a one off credit/debit card payment.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive.
